The gem among the towns of Slovakia is undoubtedly BANSKÁ ŠTIAVNICA situated in the heart of the Štiavnické vrchy Mts. Its undeniable values and beauty caused that it is one of the first Slovak towns that has been included into the List of the World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in 1996.

The ancient town of BARDEJOV is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful towns in Slovakia. It was inscribed into the List of the World Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO in 2000.

There are only several cities on the map of Europe with such a unique position and rich history as those of BRATISLAVA - the Capital of the Slovak republic. The river Danube, the second greatest river of Europe, is its pride and symbol.

The ecclesiastic town SPIŠSKÁ KAPITULA is sometimes also referred to as the “Slovak Vatican”. Church life not only  in Spišská Kapitula (The Chapter of Spiš) was organised from here by the bishops, provosts, and canonists.

BANSKÁ BYSTRICA was member of the exclusive trio of the richest central Slovakian mining towns. Banská Bystricas attribute was “copper” as this ore was extracted in the Starohorské vrchy Mts. near the town in the 14th century.

Along with Levoča, KEŽMAROK represents the most extensive and most compact compound of cultural and historical monuments in the region of Spiš.

KREMNICA situated in central Slovakia was one of the richest towns of the Kingdom of Hungary in the past. Kremnica derived its wealth from gold mining due to which it soon won the attribute of a ”golden town”.

PREŠOV, the metropolis of region Šariš is the third biggest town of Slovakia. It has been the rival of Košice and Bardejov, each of them trying to win the dominance in eastern Slovakia.

Thanks to its strategic position below the famous Castle of Trenčín and in the valley of the Váh river TRENČÍN has always been one of the most important towns in Slovakia. A unique authentic proof of presence of Roman legions in the territory of Trenčín exists.

ŽILINA is the metropolis of the north-west of Slovakia and a "pearl of the Váh river". It is one of the oldest Slovak towns with unique history and many rare historical and artistic monuments.
