Surrounded by the Vihorlatské vrchy hills in the south, the Bukovské vrchy hills in the east, the Nízke Beskydy range in the north, and opening to the Cirošská dolina valley in the west, the town of SNINA is situated in the easternmost corner of the Slovak Republic, at the confluence of the Cirocha and Pčolinka rivers.

The town of SPIŠSKÁ NOVÁ VES is located in the Hornádska kotlina basin and surrounded by the foothills of the Levočské vrchy from the north and the Spišško-gemerské rudohorie mountain range from the south.

Overlooked by the ancient Ľubovňa Castle, the town of STARÁ ĽUBOVŇA, the centre of the Northern Spiš region, lies in the River Poprad basin in northern Slovakia.

Situated in the northern part of the Prešov region, the town of STROPKOV is found in the Ondavská vrchovina highlands below the Nízke Beskydy range, at the crossroads to the town of Medzilaborce and the Vyšný Komárnik border crossing.

SVÄTÝ JUR is an ancient town lying in a vineyard region at he foot of the Little Carpathians, only 14 km away from Bratislava. A historical centre of Svätý Jur has been declared a historical town reserve.  

Located in north-eastern Slovakia, the town of SVIDÍNK is found in the north-eastern part of the Nízke Beskydy Mts., at the confluence of the Ondava and the Ladomírka rivers. It is the central town of the sub-Dukla region, closely connected with the culture and history of Ruthenians and Ukrainians in Slovakia.
