NOVÉ ZÁMKY is not only the biggest town of the region of Podunajsko, but also the cultural centre of the regions Dolné Ponitrie and Podunajsko.

A town of PEZINOK is situated 18 km south-east of the capital city of Bratislava. It is spreading over two cadastral areas of Grinava and Pezinok, at the foot of the Little Carpathians, and it is a district town of the Bratislava County. Other neighbouring districts are Senec, Bratislava, Malacky and Trnava.

The world famous spa town of PIEŠŤANY is famous for the medicinal geothermal water and sulfuric mud with extraordinary therapeutic effects on inflammatory disorders. Besides health and relax, the town offers its guests rich cultural life and plenty of opportunities for sports.

The town of Považská Bystrica is situated in the northern part of the Vážske podolie valley, surrounded by the Manínska vrchovina highlands and ridges of the Javorníky mountain range. The captivating natural scenery in the vicinity of the town attracts visitors throughout the year.

In the immediate vicinity of Bojnice is the district town PRIEVIDZA, the second largest town in the region of Ponitrie.

The surroundings of the city PÚCHOV in middle Považie teem with rich archaeological findings from the prehistoric regions of today’s Slovakia. Most of them belong to the bearers of the Púchov culture, which got its name after this city.

REVÚCA is located in the Banská Bystrica region, which is one of the biggest regional areas in Slovakia.

The administrative and economic centre of Malohont and the former County Gemer-Malohont and later of the district the town of RIMAVSKÁ SOBOTA.

Rožňava, the town of old traditions and a significant centre of Upper Gemer, is situated in south-eastern Slovakia, in the River Slaná's basin, between the slopes of the Slovak Ore Mountains (Slovenské rudohorie) and the plateaus of the National Park of Slovak Karst (Slovenský kras).
