Berggericht, formerly the seat of the Mining Court and later also used by the Mining Academy, currently houses a Mineralogical Exposition.

Bibiana focuses on and supports the development of art activities designed for all age categories of children and young generation. Through unusual, experimental methods of work, children become familiar with art.

Visit the birth place of Ľudovít Štúr´s father in Lubina and you will gain insight into our national history. The musuem is also devoted to Jozef Ľudovít Holuby, traditions connected with Lubina and another part is dedicated to history of wars.

The Bratislava City Gallery is the second largest gallery in Slovakia. Its activities are associated with permanent exhibitions of a part of the extensive visual art collection and with regular presentations of valuable pieces of visual art of Slovak and foreign origin, focusing not only on old works, such as Gothic art but also on the latest trends. 

As many as eleven thematically-oriented museums in historically valuable buildings are currently open to the public within the Bratislava City Museum.

Western Slovakia's Ponitrie region boasts a number of historical and cultural monuments, with a Renaissance-style manor house in Brodzany, which also includes the Museum of A. S. Pushkin, ranging among the best-known sites.

The former Praetorium's building is the third exhibition area of the Central Slovakia Gallery. Between 1970 and 1993 it was the main seat of the gallery, nowadays it houses temporary exhibitions.

The Central Slovakia Gallery (formerly the State Gallery in Banská Bystrica) is a gallery presenting modern and contemporary art. It focuses mainly on the presentation and documentation of free graphic arts of the latter half of the 20^th century, as well as on contemporary art.

The Museum was established in 1889 as a Municipal museum. It is located in SNP Square in Banská Bystrica and currently it has 3 permanent expositions - the social science exposition in Thurzo's House in SNP Square No. 4, the exposition devoted to history of Banská Bystrica in Matej`s House in Námestie Štefana Moyzesa square No. 20, and natural sciences exposition in Tihányi Manor House on Radvanská Street No. 27.

Exclusive industrial premises design factory have been created by conversion of an old factory hall. design factory focuses especially on projects presenting contemporary architecture, design and art. The program consists of various exhibitions, seminars, workshops which are organized on this purpose.

Slovakia´s first diocesan museum has been open to public on the Sts. Constantine – Cyril and Methodius Holiday in the Nitra Castle as the first of its kind in the country. In addition to being a museum, it is an exceptional spiritual centre.
