You say you are into music and passion, that there is rhythm in your blood? Bratislava doesn’t sleep at night, well not everywhere at least. We will tell you where the city pulses to your rhythm until the morning!
Bratislava gives you quality music, the captivating beauty of the Slovak ladies, and a really good time, just as a young European capital should. It has more than enough places for letting loose on the dance floor, with everything from an underground bunker to a disco boat on the Danube. The city’s music scene has something for everyone – whether you like house, techno, rock, oldies, flamenco, or chill out music.
The most popular night clubs in the city centre include Charlie Club on Špitálska street, Channels on Župné námestie, Trafo on Ventúrska street, Faces on Michalská street, or Sparx on Cintorínska street. You can sample the distinct underground atmosphere of the bunker club right under the castle rock face in the shape of the legendary Subclub. The Cirkus Barok club on a boat on Rázusovo nábrežie lets you enjoy fun on the water, as well as the Nassau club on Tyršovo nábrežie. You can find the largest discos in the city at Trnavské mýto – Las Vegas, and on Prievozská street – Dopler.
If you prefer rock and other guitar genres, head for Aligátor Rock Club on Laurinská street. There are regular rock and punk concerts at Randal Club in the former YMCA building on the corner of Šancová and Karpatská streets. You can get into some hot Latino and Cuban rhythms at the Flamenco Music Club on Štefánikova street or in Maňana on Kollárovo námestie.
Enjoy some oldies and take a trip back down memory lane at Club 80 on Ventúrska street, or in Club 39 in Mlynská dolina. Mlynská dolina is alive with a bustling student atmosphere – offering other dance venues like Unique and Elam. Tired after a busy day and just looking to chill out? Try Azyl near Dom u dobrého pastiera on Židovská street, or Radosť on Obchodná street.
