The new tourism headquarters of the Trnava region – Trnava Tourism – together with its partners has prepared for the 2012 autumn season the very best that this destination has to offer in this period. Value-added weekends which combine wine-making, history, art and seasonal gastronomy will promote the region using the Tirnavia brand.
The Tirnavia region is pleased to invite you to its autumn premiere. Alongside its rich history, the region also boasts a rich wine-making tradition. During the weekends, we can offer the unique atmosphere of wine tasting in wine cellars such as Víno Mrva&Stanko, the champion of worldwide wine fairs, or the wine producer Terra Parna which combines modern architecture with romantic vineyards. All this can be enhanced by a pleasant walk through the autumn vineyards or through the gardens of the fairy-tale Smolenice castle.

Weekends are not only aimed at wine lovers, but also for those who haven’t yet had the opportunity to get to know viticulture, wine production and tasting. Ten weekend breaks are available, including accommodation with the best wine-growers in the region. The weekends will be available from the second half of September (first weekend: 14/9 to 16/9) until the end of November (last weekend: 16/11 to 18/11), always from Friday to Sunday. All dates include special weekend break prices with associated accommodation facilities.
