On 17-19th August 2012, multicultural event UV_festival 2012 near Rohožník (Malacky), will take place.
Dramaturgy of UV_festival 2012 is not bounded by any genre, though attention of organizers is focused on quality and enjoyable, creative atmosphere. Festival has been supported by international organisation Visegrad fund. Thanks to this will visitors see and hear the best from Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic. In addition, festival will welcome representatives from Ukraine, Great Britain and New Zealand.
This year will perform at three stages - visegrad stage, hudba.sk stage, UV_like stage – thirty five music bands, many of them with well known name as Hungarian Besh o drom, by critics prized Oszibarack from Poland, Gerda Blank from New Zealand nowadays working in Brno, Zapaska from Ukraine or British musician Nick Fisher. Representatives of domestic Slovak music scene are Czech-Slovak Rara Avis, guarantee of great enjoyment from eastern Slovakia Puding pani Elvisovej and Chiki Liki Tu-a, Longital Sto Múch, Diego, Kvety Nikotínu or Feelme. Amazing Duo Aratron Aspis will perform wonderful UV show, the unthinkable part of UV_festival.
Throughout duration of festival will be the main musical program complemented by reach parallel program. Visitors will have possibility to see work of creative artists and theatrical performances, visit the improvised cinema with movies projections, or kiosks of non-profit organisations with presentations of their work and thematic discussions. What won't be missing is tea-house with healthy refreshments and place for relaxation, but will be created also space for action and party games. For our youngest will be ready children’s playground.
