The festival is an excellent opportunity to bring together several forms and interpretations of flamenco, as influenced by cultures of various nations. It provides an opportunity for mutual enrichment, inspiration and establishing useful contacts.
In addition, the festival's committee invites Spanish artists to take part in the event, so that the Slovak audience is presented with flamenco coming from its cultural fount. At the same time, their involvement in the festival provides an immense impetus to all the cast, as the Spanish artists are a source of new ideas and inspiration that last long after the event is over.
On top of the positive contribution of the festival, the event also fulfills another important role - education. This is carried out via accompanying events that are held on an annual basis: lectures, exhibitions, as well as dancing, guitar and percussion lessons, which all complement the event.
