Description of the route: Medium difficult tour, which is a circle. Exposed stretches in the gorge are secured by artificial climbing aids. They required increased caution. The passage through the gorge is one-way, up the stream of the brook only! The beginning and the end of the route are in comfortable terrain on forest roads and paths. Easy orientation, as the paths are well and visibly marked.
The tour will show you one of the two westerly situated gorges of the Slovenský raj Mts. Its first stretch runs in the attractive wide river valley of Veľká Biela voda followed by the stretch in the canyon. The most attractive but also demanding part of the trip is the ascent in the Piecky gorge, within the National Nature Reserve of Piecky. Ladders, steps and chains secure the passage.
