The ski resort of Makov is situated in the region of Javorníky/Kysuce. The base altitude of the resort is 660 m and the highest point reaches up to 948 m, for a total vertical rise of 288 m. Makov's ski season runs from December thru March. Total length of the downhill runs is 6,1 km.
