International dog show of all breeds – FCI.

It is the only festival of its kind in Slovakia, presenting unique dolls dressed in the traditional folk costumes of each of the participating ensembles. The festival has been held for three days every year since 1997.

Motoring events began in the thirties of last century and continue in the spirit of the tradition again this year. A programme-rich event, with a tour round the Small Carpathians through Trnava and Red Stone Castle and back to the Spa Island in Piešťany. The event will culminate with a “Concours d'Elegance” in front of the Thermia Palace Hotel.

Tajchy are lakes situated in central Slovakia. They were constructed for the needs of the local mines and today they serve for recreation bathing in the wonderful natural setting next to Banská Štiavnica, the town inscribed in the UNESCO List of Natural and Cultural Heritage.

The gem among the towns of Slovakia is undoubtedly BANSKÁ ŠTIAVNICA situated in the heart of the Štiavnické vrchy Mts. Its undeniable values and beauty caused that it is one of the first Slovak towns that has been included into the List of the World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in 1996.

The ancient town of BARDEJOV is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful towns in Slovakia. It was inscribed into the List of the World Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO in 2000.

The Greek Catholic wooden church of St Nicolas. In 2008, along with seven wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, it was included on the UNESCO's Word Heritage List.

Arboretum Mlyňany boasts the largest and most valuable exotic evergreen wood species in Slovakia. It also is one of the biggest in central Europe.

Demänovská jaskyňa slobody is part of the huge underground karst system in the valley Demänovská dolina below the Nízke Tatry Mts. It boasts a unique drip stone ornamentation, which makes it one of the most beautiful caves of Europe.

The village Štefanová with numerous buildings built in traditional style is situated in the north-west of Slovakia at the foothill of the mountain Veľký Rozsutec (1,610 m).

In the south-western edge of the Slovenský raj Mts. is the Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa cave, one of the largest ice caves in Europe. Thanks to its significance and unique ornamentation, it was included into the List of the Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO.
